Toppr Interview Experience - Content Creator Codr

What is Toppr?

Toppr is an e-learning platform where students submit their doubts in any subject and they get their answers with proper explanation from a Toppr Community Expert.

Today I'm going to explain how one can do freelancing jobs within Toppr Community. There multiple freelancing jobs available in Toppr community. These are - 

• Content Creator
• Solve Doubts
• Ambassadors
• Parent

In this blog I will be talking about Content Creator job only. If you require details about other ones please comment below.

Under Content Creator job profile you will find multiple subjects and you have to choose your preferred subject(s). There are also many sub-category of jobs available under this content creator profile and these are -

• Story Creation - Here you have to create online stories based on a chapter given.
• DTP - It is the typed form of Story Creation.
• Solution Writing - Questions will be provided and you have to answer the question with proper explanation.
• Rating and Tagging - You have to tag the questions properly so that students can get the exactly what they need.
• Quality Check - Here one has to check whether the questions have correct options or not and they are ready to publishing or not.

I was applied for Content Creator - Solution Creation profile and the process went as follows -

Assignment:

For content creator profile they will give you a sample assignment and after reviewing your work if you qualify you will get an interview call. I was applied for the subject Computer Science. After that they had sent me an email with a form to know my availability to do the task because they provide limited time to complete the task after sending the assignment. Upon filling the form they had sent me a sample task on my preferred date and had given me 48 hours to complete and send the solutions. There were 15 questions on multiple computer science domain and I had to write solutions according to their given instructions. [Note: You have to send them google docs link of your solution]

Interview:

If your sample task solutions get passed their checking they will call you for an interview. After submitting my task solutions I had got an email of my interview schedule. But on that day the interviewer was unavailable due to some reasons so they gave me three dates and I had to choose one among them for my interview schedule. I had chosen 2nd November, 2020 and as per my choice they had schedule the interview.

My interviewer was a product manager at Toppr. At first she introduced herself and then asked me to give my introduction. After that she asked me to open my solution docs and then started asking questions from my solutions. Then she asked me to open any code editor and write the same solution of a program given in the task with proper explanation suppose that I'm teaching a student. After finishing the QnA she told me that my HR will will call me for the feedback.

On the next day I received a call from my HR stating I got selected and aster discussing the terms and conditions she sent me the offer letter.
